The Island in Pigeon Forge is a 23-acre outdoor entertainment complex in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, built around a central fountain plaza with more than 80 shops, restaurants, and attractions.
The centerpiece is the 200-foot Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, a climate-controlled observation wheel with mountain views, alongside the SkyFly flying theater and a two-story ropes course. Free hourly fountain shows run throughout the day.
Most visitors plan 2 to 4 hours to shop, eat, and catch the fountain show, or a half day if riding the wheel and trying multiple attractions. The Island is open daily with free parking and admission.
