Lotte World is a large indoor-outdoor entertainment complex in the Songpa District of Seoul, South Korea, combining an indoor theme park, an outdoor “Magic Island” park on an artificial lake, a shopping mall, an ice rink, and a folk museum under one roof. It opened in 1989 and remains one of the world’s largest indoor theme parks, drawing families and thrill-seekers year-round regardless of weather.
Inside, rides range from gentle carousel and boat attractions to roller coasters like Atlantis and French Revolution, alongside parades, ice-skating, and a 4D cinema. Lotte World is open Sunday through Thursday from 10 AM to 9 PM and Friday and Saturday from 10 AM to 10 PM, with last admission one hour before closing (hours can shift for holidays and special events, so checking the official site beforehand is worthwhile).
