The Dubai Mall is one of the largest shopping and entertainment destinations in the world, set at the base of the Burj Khalifa in Downtown Dubai. With well over 1,200 stores and hundreds of restaurants and cafés, it draws tens of millions of visitors a year and ranks among the most-visited places on the planet.
Beyond shopping, the mall is packed with attractions: the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo with its huge viewing panel, an Olympic-sized ice rink, a digital waterfall, a VR park and a cinema complex. Just outside, the Dubai Fountain stages choreographed water-and-light shows on the lake beneath the Burj Khalifa each evening.
It is also the easiest launch point for tickets to the Burj Khalifa’s At the Top observation decks. Allow at least half a day to combine shopping, the aquarium and a fountain show, and arrive via the Dubai Metro to skip the busy car parks.
