The BMW Museum in Munich is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10am to 6pm, with last admission at 5:30pm, and is closed on Mondays, per the museum’s official hours. The futuristic bowl-shaped building sits next to BMW Welt and the BMW Group headquarters near the Olympic Park.
Exhibits trace the company’s history through its engines, motorcycles, and concept and production cars, both vintage and current. Most visitors spend one and a half to two hours moving through the museum’s spiraling exhibition halls.
Admission to the museum is separate from BMW Welt next door, which is free to enter and open daily. Visitors planning to see both should budget extra time, especially during the BMW Art Cars exhibit running from late July through August 2026.
