Alto Palermo is a shopping center in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires that opened on October 17, 1990 on the site of a former 19th-century brewery. It was among the earliest modern shopping malls built in Argentina and remains one of the citys most popular retail destinations.
The mall houses more than 200 stores across fashion, electronics, and home goods, with international labels like Tommy Hilfiger and Lacoste alongside Argentine boutiques, plus a food court and cinema that make it a popular stop beyond shopping alone.
Alto Palermo is open Monday through Friday and Sunday from 10 am to 9 pm, and Saturday from 10 am until midnight, making it a convenient stop for an afternoon or evening out in the Palermo district.
