  • Sign: And what would you do?

On the place of this artwork, there was during World War 2 a sign “forbidden for Jews to enter the park”. It was one of the first anti-Jewish measures by the Nazi.
This artwork, a mirror, wants to invite you to think about what you would have done in 1940, when the anti-Jewish measures were introduced. Would you have come into action?

And what will you do now, when you see somewhere racism, discrimination or intolerance. Can you look yourself right in the eyes?
Do you look away, or do you say something, when you see injustice against someone of another race, religion, country of origin, skin color, appearance, sexual preference, disability, age, et cetera?
