The Dancing House is a deconstructivist office building in Prague’s New Town designed by Vlado Milunic and Frank Gehry, whose intertwined glass and stone towers, nicknamed “Fred and Ginger,” evoke a dancing couple. Inside, the Dancing House Gallery hosts rotating exhibitions of Czech and international artists, while the seventh-floor Ginger & Fred restaurant and eighth-floor glass bar open onto a rooftop terrace with 360-degree views across the Vltava River and Prague Castle.
Most visitors spend 30 to 60 minutes admiring the exterior and, if time allows, riding up for the rooftop view. Admission to the gallery or the rooftop terrace requires a separate ticket, while the cafe and restaurant welcome walk-in visitors.
