La Pedrera (Casa Milà) is Antoni Gaudí’s undulating, stone-faced apartment building on Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona, famous for its wave-like façade, wrought-iron balconies, and a rooftop of surreal, helmet-shaped chimneys that inspired the Star Wars stormtrooper design.
From early March through early November, La Pedrera is open daily from 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM, with special evening visits from around 8:40 PM to 10:20 PM; winter hours (roughly November through early January) run shorter days. Every ticket includes a full English audio guide, entry is staggered in 15-minute intervals, and last entry is typically 45–60 minutes before closing. Plan for about 1.5 hours to see the attic exhibition, an apartment, and the rooftop — note that the roof terrace closes in rainy weather for visitor safety.
Booking online in advance is recommended to skip the ticket-office line, particularly during peak tourist months.
