The Speicherstadt and Kontorhaus District with Chilehaus were added to the UNESCO World Heritage list on 5 July 2015. The World Heritage Info Point in the Chilehaus is run jointly by the Department of Culture and Media (Office for Monument Protection), the Department of the Environment, Climate, Energy and Agriculture and the Foundation of the Historical Museums of Hamburg.
